100 days of Dublin Doors for the #the100DayProject

Today marks the start of this round of #the100DayProject!

I’ve followed along this online free art project for the past few years but didn’t join in the fun. This year I decided to toss my hat in the ring and I’ll be documenting my explorations of my new city, Dublin, by snapping photos of doors.

Why doors?

Well, Dublin is full of gorgeous, brightly colored doors. And I love color —esp. fun color on doors!

Here’s me celebrating color in Seattle, just after I finished painting our brand new doors this fabulous blue last fall.

Our new bright blue doors on our house in Seattle, fall 2018.

I also love exploring new neighborhoods, so this is a perfect project to get me out in my new city hunting down new shades and styles.

To start, here’s my 1/100 of #100DoorsofDublin: my own front door in Dublin! It isn’t nearly as colorful as I’d like, but since we’re renting, I’ll deal. On to more colorful finds…
