Days 46-63 of #100DaysofDublinDoors
On my quest to fulfill my #100DayProject and capture #100DaysofDublinDoors, there has been one color so far that has given me some trouble.
That color? Orange.
Who would’ve guessed that this vibrant color wasn’t very popular? I certainly didn’t! At the beginning of the project I saw several, so I didn’t realize I’d have a difficult time finding the shades I wanted.
It almost threw my color plan right off its track! But thankfully I was able to find a few more to create the gradation I was imagining in my head…
From orange we’ve headed nicely into the wood grain/brown doors. Don’t let them fool you — they might not be as colorful as the other doors but that doesn’t make them any less fabulous. The door to Trinity College featured in the middle of the top row below is a favorite.
I was lucky enough to pass by when the crowds had thinned. Usually you’ll see crowds of tourists pouring in and out of that doorway heading to The Old Library and The Book of Kells exhibition.
I haven’t been in yet, I’m saving that for when I have guests visit! So, who wants to go with me? 🙂
